Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-07

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PushEdge platform: the website at pushedge.app, the management console at console.pushedge.app, the API at api.pushedge.app, and the PushEdge mobile app (together, the "Service").

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. The Service

PushEdge lets publishers create notification channels, let end users subscribe to those channels (for example by scanning a QR code in the PushEdge mobile app), and send push notifications to subscribers' devices through our API, console, or the PushEdge mobile app.

3. Accounts

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. API usage

API keys are confidential and must not be shared publicly. Requests are subject to rate limits (for example 100 requests per minute per IP, with stricter limits on authentication and device endpoints). Abuse may lead to throttling or suspension.

6. Plans and fees

New accounts start on the Free plan (up to 3 devices and 200 notifications per month). Paid plans (Pro 1,99 €/month and Company 9,99 €/month) are billed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled; cancellation from the Stripe Customer Portal applies at the end of the current billing period (the remaining days are not refunded). Founder accounts ("legacy") are exempt from these limits and from billing.

7. Your content

You are responsible for the notification content you send and for having the necessary rights and legal bases to contact your subscribers. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and deliver that content to provide the Service. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of the Service.

9. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Support is provided on a best-effort basis via our contact form. No service level agreement applies unless separately agreed in writing.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. In particular, we do not warrant that push notifications will always be delivered on time or at all, as delivery depends on third-party platforms (such as APNs and FCM) and device settings outside our control.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, during the beta phase, is zero).

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the console. We may suspend or terminate your access for a material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, or to protect the Service or other users.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be announced on this page or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of France, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules.
